A terrain for learning and play.
On an Antofagasta hillside, the rugby pitch occupies nearly half the site and calls for a level plane. The scheme places it on a lower terrace shaped by excavation and fill, with teaching and administration above. A triple-height covered street crosses the upper platform and connects classroom blocks with four stepped courtyards. From these routes, school life overlooks the pitch, the city and the sea.
