The memorial within the museum route.

The proposal arranges a sequence of public spaces between the city and the river: a square incorporating the existing memorial, a sunken square organising the museum galleries, and an esplanade with a lookout for everyday use and collective gatherings. The permanent exhibition gallery rises as the sole prominent volume; its route concludes with a view of the memorial. The team won first prize in the competition. The project has not been built.
